ICS-MDVR-E4 Series - Compact Surveillance Systems for trains
Transportation environments are usually harsh, with repeated exposure to shock and vibration often proving too much for adapted desk-top electronic systems. The ICS MDVR-E4 is specifically designed for public and commercial transport applications onboard rolling stock. The DVR board is encased in a rugged extruded aluminium housing mounted on aerospace grade anti-vibration mounts, the new ICS-MDVR-E4 mobile DVR can withstand these hostile environments to provide reliable in-vehicle security surveillance. Small, light and robust, the DVR is ideal in space restricted situations where the application demands resilience from the product.
All user connections and controls are performed on the front panel using a laptop or via a network. Status indicators are easily visible for checking system functionality during "Pre-driver's check" and are located behind a strong acrylic clear window to avoid any tampering.

TOUGHENED DESIGN
A robust extruded aluminium enclosure mounted on aerospace grade shock absorbers ensures that ICS-MDVR-E4 can withstand prolonged exposure to the vibration and shock that is typical of rail transportation.
G-FORCE SENSOR
3-axis accelerometer providing g-force measurements of vehicle,
can be associated with camera footage for use in evidential
circumstances.
POWER MANAGEMENT
The ICS-MDVR-E4 power management facility stops the unit
recording and closes down operation after a user defined period
has elapsed from the vehicle ignition being turned off. The unit
will also carry out a controlled and timed power down sequence
when the vehicle voltage has fallen below a user set level.

MultiMode RECORDING
MultiMode recording offers total recording flexibilty. Record rates, image resolutions (QCIF to 4CIF) and compression algorithms (MPEG4/MJPEG) can be dynamically changed depending upon the operational mode of the unit. MultiMode Recording profiles can be set on a per unit or per camera basis allowing the balance between record quality and total recording time to be optimised.
