Entry Terminal
The entrance terminal comprises of an entrance terminal and an entrance barrier. The entrance check-post includes a thermal printer for issuing short-term parking cards (KP). To issue a KP card, the vehicle must be positioned over an inductance loop installed in the entrance terminal. After pushing a button the check-post will issue a KP card, a parking ticket with a bar code. The ticket is printed on a 75g thermal paper. After the card has been removed, the entrance barrier opens. When the vehicle passes though the barrier and over the safety loop the barrier then closes (The barrier will only close once the vehicle clears the safety loop).
The GPT entrance terminal is equipped with a motor printer and encoder of parking cards. The terminal keeps paid short-term cards. The terminal can be equipped with proximity card systems that can be used by regular clients of the parking lots.
